Leatrice ThomasLeatrice Thomas, fondly known as "LEE", passed away at his home in Holt, Michigan on Monday, November 28, 2016.  He was born on May 18, 1946 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Hosie and Willie Ree (Walton) Thomas, Sr.He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Wanda Marie Kemp of Albion, son Jason (Betsy) Thomas of Portage and three grandchildren Chantel, Zy'Airh and ZZ'Riah Kemp all of Albion, also one brother Hosie Thomas Jr of Vicksburg, MS, three sisters Catherine Brown and Joyce Spicer both of Albion and Helen (Sammy) Walton of Vicksburg, MS.  Lee is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends including the Walton, Lewis, Parker, London, Spicer, Spratley and Brown families.He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers Charles, Cornelius and Larry Thomas; his adopted father, Charles Spicer, Sr.  Lee will be missed by those who knew him and called him Friend.Services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church, 523 Washington Street, Albion, with Pastor Fred H. Alexander, Jr officiating.  Family hour will begin at 12:00 PM until time of service at the church. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Albion.
