Larry Richey, a beloved resident of Bethel, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023. He was 101 years old. Born on July 18, 1922, Larry lived a remarkable life, touching the hearts of all who knew him. He was known for his hard-headed ways, sense of humor, and always finding work that needs done. Larry's passion for life was evident in his dedication to his farm, where he put every free ounce of his time and energy.

Larry Richey is survived by his two daughters, Rhonda Richey-Hopkins, wife of Jeff Hopkins of Neville, Ohio, and Janice Richey of Mt.Orab, Ohio; three grandchildren- Anne Richey of Amelia, Ohio, Nikki Ruthen, wife to Jason Ruthen of Mt. Orab, Ohio, and Christopher Prebble of Georgetown, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Lilly Ruthen; he is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at his farm in Bethel, Ohio. This service, as decided by his granddaughters, will be immediate family or invitation only. the celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. January 9, 2024. Larry will be cremated and laid to rest by spreading his ashes below his favorite tree. He will be dearly missed.
