Kevin Johnson Jr, 55, of Marietta, Georgia, passed on June 07, 2023. Kevin was born on September 05, 1967 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Barbara Johnson and Kevin Johnson Sr.

Kevin received Christ and was baptized at Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ under the pastorate of Rev. Dank Tyler at an early age. He soon became a member of the Sunshine Band, the Purity Class, and joined the Jr.Choir. Kevin attended Grand Rapids Public Schools, but graduated in Pennsylvania in 1984.

To say that Kevin loved the Lord would be an understatement. He was a man that put God above everything. In April of 1998, Kevin married the love of his life Ashley Williams. Kevin had a great love for kids, humorous spirit, and a forgiving heart. He made a positive impact to those he encountered throughout the community. Kevin was a beloved husband, father, son, nephew, cousin and friend to so many.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father Kevin Johnson Sr, and grandparents Robert and Eula Mullen.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memories his wife Ashley Johnson; three children Tantiana Gray(Johnson), Cienna Boyd, and Leonard Boyd.; his Mother Barbara Johnson; his step children Demarcus, Markel and Jayfia Williams,; his aunts Eula Jackson of Evanston, Illinois, Cecelia (James) Primer of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Irene Sanders, and Mary (Rhodney) Tyler ; his uncles Robert Lee Johnson (Ann), and Johnny Lee Jonson all of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Close cousins Laajade Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Dwight Johnson, and numerous cousins and friends.
