Kenneth Hastings Sr. age  66 ,was born on January 28, 1952, to the late James Hastings Sr and Myrtice Hastings in Chester P.A. Kenneth Hastings Sr. peacefully Departed this life April 17, 2018. At the University of Pennsylvania (Penn Medicine) in Philadelphia P.A.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his daughter Sofia L. Hastings Bennett, his father James Hastings Sr., Brother Dale Hastings, and close sister Gail Hastings .Kenneth Sr. leaves to cherish his beloved memories, his wife Joanne Davis Hastings of Chester P.A. his mother Myrtice Hastings of Chester P.A, his children Kennette Ruth (Anthony) of Manchester P.A.Katina -Taylor -Hastings (Myron) of Chester P.A. Kenneth Hastings Jr. (Cassandra) of Milford De. Ciara Hastings- Houchens (Donald) of Greenwood De. and Two sons of which he raised Milton and Michael Pearson , his two brothers James Hastings Jr. (Dell) of Virginia beach, Leonard Hastings (Barbra) of Augusta Georgia, seven sisters: drena brooks (Carl) Of Washington D.c. Marlena Coune (Joseph) of New Jersey, Muriel Hastings of Collingdale P.A, Pamela Hastings, Debra Hastings, Donna Hastings and Moreen Hastings all of Chester P.A. a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews and two very dear close cousins Allen and Joe Rico.

In his early life, Kenneth Sr. Graduated from chester high school in chester P.A., shortly after he did a tour of duty in Vietnam. In his later life Kenneth Sr. worked for the department of corrections (Howard young) where he retired in 2017, Kenneth Sr. was a beloved Husband ,Father and Grandfather with a very big heart he made sure when you came in his home he always made you feel welcome, he was dedicated to his family and was a friendly man always stop to have a conversation with people he loved to sing and put a big smile on your face .He will always be remembered as the Man with the very big heart.

Services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 320 Tilghman Street Chester P.A. 19013, viewing from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m followed by funeral at 11:00 a.m
