To a beautiful soul who will be missed

Keith Smith, beloved husband, father, and friend, met his untimely demise on August 11, 2023. Born on January 17, 1950, in the sunny paradise of Hallandale, Florida, Keith lived a life filled with laughter, mischief, and questionable fashion choices.

From the moment Keith learned how to tie his own shoelaces, it was evident that he was destined for greatness. He possessed a natural talent for tripping over the most invisible of obstacles, bringing joy to all who witnessed his awkward grace. No one could stumble quite like Keith.

Known for his love of adventure, Keith was a trailblazer in his own right. He fearlessly embarked on daring endeavors, such as driving with his eyes closed during Monopoly marathons and attempting to use a lightsaber to cut a loaf of bread. We may never truly understand his logic, but we'll forever cherish the laughter it brought.

Throughout his life, Keith collected hobbies like a squirrel amasses nuts. From extreme napkin folding to competitive underwater knitting, he was always up for trying something new and utterly bizarre. If there's a Guinness World Record for "Most Unusual Collection of Hobbies," we're confident Keith would have taken the title without breaking a sweat.

Keith's fashion sense was...unique, to say the least. With his love for Hawaiian shirts, mismatched socks, and pants that were apparently allergic to belts, he constantly reminded us that life is too short to conform to societal norms. We can only hope that his questionable style choices will inspire future generations to embrace their inner fashion-forward misfits.

When it came to technology, Keith was on the cutting edge. Although he never quite grasped the concept of T9 texting, his resilience in using an ancient flip phone provided endless amusement to those around him. Let's be honest; we all secretly envied his snake game skills.

Keith's passion for food was unparalleled. He believed that pineapple pizzas and peanut butter and pickles were culinary masterpieces, refusing to understand why others recoiled in horror at his creations. His curiosity knew no bounds, leading him to concoct gastronomic wonders that would make even the most daring chefs balk.

While we mourn the loss of Keith, we choose to celebrate the memories he left us with. From his legendary dance moves at family weddings to his impressive ability to get lost in a one-way street, he brought joy and laughter wherever he went. Rest assured, Keith, your legend will live on in the stories we tell and the laughter that echoes in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the "National Association for Awkward Dancers" or "Pineapple Pizza Enthusiasts Anonymous." Keith would have wanted to leave a lasting impact, even beyond his final shuffle-step off this mortal coil.

Farewell, dear Keith. May you continue to trip your way across the great cosmic dance floor, bringing smiles to the faces of angels and plenty of mismatched socks wherever you go.

You can to the family or in memory of Keith Smith.
