Kathryn Louise TyoBROWNSVILLE: Kathryn Louise Tyo, 88, of Brownsville, died at 2:45pm Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Adams Lane Care Center.She was born on July 3, 1925 in Athens, Ohio the daughter of James Calvin and Hazel Frost Dailey.Kathryn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene on Martin Lane and also had been employed for many years as a teacher at the Christian Academy in Cambridge.She is survived by husband of 72 years, Donald Eugene Tyo whom she married on June 13, 1942; her children, Frank (Jennifer) Tyo, Michael (Shelly) Tyo and Donna K. (Joe Sedeski) Mansfield; 16 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren; a sister, Alice McGee; best friend and sister-in-law, Barbara Dailey, and special friend, Naomi Satterfield; numerous nieces and nephews. Kathryn was preceded in death by her two sons, Jerry and James Tyo, three sisters, Nancy, Francis and Ruth Ann and her brothers, Byron and Daniel Dailey.Friends may call 6-8pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Dupler officiating and assisting will be Rev. Mark Dupler.
