Schmidt, Judith Of Wichita, KS passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, in Wichita. Judith was born on Feb. 10, 1937, in Wichita the daughter of Robert B. and Velma Dockum. Judith and Burton W. Schmidt were united in marriage on Aug. 16, 1961, in Wichita. Together they celebrated 49 years of marriage before his passing in 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Nancy Trombold. Survivors include her loving son, Robert J. Schmidt of Wichita; daughter, Tracy (Steve) Harrelson of Peachtree City, GA; grandchildren, Lindsey (Adam) Schloegel of Senoia, GA, Coleman Harrelson of Peachtree City, Shelby Harrelson of Peachtree City; great-grandchildren, Noah, Kyleigh and Evan Schloegel. A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial was held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. Memorial can be made to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market St., Wichita, KS 67202.
