Wyatt, 77 of Port Huron, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Medilodge of St. Clair.  She was born on May 19, 1940 to Leo and Alice Murphy in Sarina, Ontario. Joy married her pen pal of eleven years, Conrad A. Wyatt on September 7, 1974 in Port Huron. They were married for 40 years. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2014.Joy worked for the Port Huron Police Department for 27 years as a Parking Violations Officer. She was very well known and respected in the community.Joy was a devoted wife and aunt, she loved to spend time with her family.  She had a love for country music so much that she was a Fan Club President.  She adored her cats; Simon and Opie.Joy is survived by her brother; Leo (Pat) Murphy, her nephews and nieces; Michael Murphy, Kelly Jo Woodcox, Timothy (Vikki) Murphy, Bill (Ann) Philp, Donny (Joyce) Philp, Deek "Bill" Hornbostel, Freddy (Nan) Hornbostel, Jonny Hornbostel, Pam (George) Scott, and several great nieces and nephews throughout the U.S.A., Canada and England.Cremation has taken place and a service Joy's memory will be in Smith Family Funeral Home - North at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017, with her nephew, Michael Murphy officiating, visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery at a later date.Memorials may be made to the wishes of her family.
