Josie Floyd, of Ozark, Alabama, passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 89. She was born on July 7, 1935, and lived a colorful and vibrant life.

she was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she was surrounded by her children when she transitioned peacefully to her Savior, Jesus Christ, She was a beloved member of her community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Josie was married to her husband, Jimmy, for 64 wonderful years and together they raised a beautiful family of eight children. She was a devoted mother, to 8 children always putting her children's needs above her own, and she took great pride in watching them grow into successful and loving adults.

In addition to her children, Josie leaves behind 15 adoring grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren who were the light of her life. She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren sharing stories, and teaching them life lessons with her trademark sense of humor.

Josie will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family. She has left a lasting legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
