Joshua Matthew ThomasJoshua Matthew Thomas was taken unexpectedly August 12th 2017.Josh is survived by grandfather, U.S. Army Retired Lt. William E. Thomas, his father, Jonathan Matthew Thomas, mother, Jaysica Noemi Thomas. His older brother, Jonathan Michael Thomas, a cousin, Nimo Isidoro, and his nephew, Jonathan Mason Thomas; his fiancé Chelsea Cross and children. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Isabella Layla Thomas. Josh was born on August 5th 1985 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. A Tallahassee native for 32 years, he attended Ft. Braden School and Godby High School with his brother, Mikey.He will be remembered among his family as a fun-loving jokester with a huge heart. He always looked up to his mom and dad - aspiring to become a hard-working, dedicated family member like them. Josh would turn to his older brother for advice, receiving tough love at times, but they had a bond unlike any other. He had an abundance of love for children in general, but especially his daughter, nephew and future adoptive children with Chelsea. Friends would describe him as a loyal protector, one to turn to for support and companionship. No matter what, he had his friends and family's backs. A viewing is scheduled for 5:00 PM, Thursday, August 17th, 2017 at Bevis Funeral Home with a reception to follow. All friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Joshua's life.
