Johnny Tyson of Florala, Alabama, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on February 4, 1947, to Charlie Tyson and Lillie Mae Williams.

Johnny is preceded in death by his loving wife, Willie Mae Williams. Johnny is survived by six children: Wilma Roger (Buck), Betty Sylvester, Mary Williams, Nell Samuel, Emma Washington ( Ken), and Barbara Williams. six sisters: Lucille Williams, Lillie Porter both of Dothan, Alabama; Betty Jean Williams( Robert) of Douglas, Georgia; Bernita Goldsmith, Georgia Gundrum, and Sandra Bryant (Jimmy) all of Florala, Alabama. one brother: Pastor Marcus Tyson (Bertha) of Homerville, Georgia, and a host of nieces and nephews. Best-friend: Jimmy Bryant.

Johnny will be fondly remembered by his 23 grand-children and 59 great- grandchildren as Gran-daddy.

Johnny will be dearly missed by friends and relatives. He was known for his bluntness with words and his love for his family.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in Peace, Johnny.
