John Urda, beloved resident of Kanawha, West Virginia, passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 86. He was born on February 23, 1938, in Kanawha, where he lived his entire life.

John was a loving father to five children - Patsy, Gerry, Michaela, Lou, and John Jr. He was also a doting grandfather to ten grandchildren. Family meant everything to John, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

Aside from his devotion to his family, John had a passion for birdwatching. He spent countless hours in nature, observing and learning about various bird species. His love for birds was infectious, and he often shared his knowledge and enthusiasm with others.

John will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
