John Johnson, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 23, 2024, in Kearney, Nebraska. He was born on July 13, 1953, to Carl and Bernice Johnson.

John is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart, Carla,whom he married in 1973. Together, they raised four children: Jenny and her spouse Eric Lopez, Crystal Fisher and her spouse Ryan Fisher, Cory Pohl (Johnson), and John J Johnson Jr. He also leaves behind 10 cherished grandchildren.

John attended Denver East High School and then went on to pursue his passion for fishing, hunting, and camping. He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent countless hours exploring nature with his family and friends.

John will be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, and unwavering dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
