Mary was born on December 22, 1954, to her parents Obie and Mary Stennis. She was a beloved wife to Bobby Murphy, whom she married in 1979. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Bobby Jr., Rydell, Olanda, and James.

Despite her passing, Mary leaves behind a legacy of laughter and joy. She was known for her quick wit and infectious sense of humor, always keeping her family and friends on their toes.

Mary attended Tech High high school and was a proud alumna. She had a passion for singing and could often be found belting out tunes in the kitchen while cooking dinner.

She was also a doting grandmother to six cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy and love into her life.

As we say goodbye to Mary, let us remember her not with sadness, but with laughter and fond memories of the joy she brought to all of our lives.

Rest in peace, Mary. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
