John Franklin Swearingen, 62, of Ocala, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2019 in Divide, Colorado while on vacation with his family. 

John was born in New Jersey, to Richard and Mary Swearingen on December 22, 1956.  He married the love of his life, Donna Swearingen on June 24, 1997 in Leesburg, Florida. He worked as an upholsterer for over 40 years.  His passions were spending time with family, golfing, hunting, fishing and riding his four-wheeler. John loved sharing stories about growing up, hunting, a good golf game and more, he enjoyed connecting with people.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 22 years, Donna and his children April (Chris), Jeffery, Shawn and Brittany (James). He will be forever remembered as "Papa," by his nine grandchildren, Abby, Lexi, Loralai, Noah, Avery, Lexi, Liam, Keen and Kinsley. He will also be remembered by his sisters, Margaret, Barbara, & Jennifer, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
