John Edward Wingo, 56 of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on August 17, 2021. John was born on May 27,1965.

John Edward lived his life the way he wanted. He made his own rules, resisted authority and paved his own way. He was a jokester that you could always count on for a laugh & he was quite the story teller. As he got older he enjoyed watching old movies & researching misc topics (once he discovered Google)

He is preceded in death by his mother Louise Hailey, his father James "Jimmy" Wingo, and his son Joshua Copeland

He is survived by his daughter Renee Copeland, sons John (Shay) Copeland & Taylor Ponder. Step-daughters Nikia & Kayla Kirby. Grandchildren: Chelsei Copeland, Alexis Copeland, Josilyn (Wooda) Copeland, Ryan Copeland, Mya Copeland, Johnetta Copeland, Joshua Copeland, Johnathon Copeland & Madelyn Ponder.
