John Carter, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on January 5, 1944, John lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.

He proudly served in the Marines as a Second Lieutenant, demonstrating bravery and dedication to his country. When he wasn't busy with his military duties, John could often be found under the hood of a car, using his skillful hands to fix and tinker with engines.

John was a loving father to his three children, Samerah, Robert, and Latifa, who brought him immense joy and pride. He also had the pleasure of being a grandparent to four wonderful grandchildren.

John's infectious smile and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Although he may be gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
