Jennifer Curtis, beloved mother, grandmother, and registered nurse, passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 78. She was born on July 12, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas, to Marcus and Marie Curtis. Jennifer grew up in Wichita and attended North High School, where she was an excellent student and active in many extracurricular activities. She graduated in 1957.

After high school, Jennifer pursued her passion for nursing and received her degree as a registered nurse. She worked for many years at Via Christi Medical Center, where she was deeply respected and admired by her colleagues and patients alike. Her dedication to her work and her caring nature touched the lives of many people in the Wichita community.

Jennifer was devoted to her family and was married to John Curtis for over 20 years. Together, they had two children, Omar Curtis and Olivia Blain. Omar is married to Lisa Curtis, and Olivia is married to Peter Blain. Jennifer adored her five grandchildren, who brought her great joy and happiness throughout her life.

Jennifer was a kind, thoughtful, and generous person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of hard work, loving kindness, and unselfishness will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
