Jeffery Lee Buford, 60, passed on August 10, 2022. He was born the third child born to James Buford and Paulette Buford in Houston, Texas on May 12, 1962 at Houston Methodist Hospital.

Jeffery attended Kolter Elementary school and later Drew Junior High school. He graduated from Heights High School in 1980.

Jeffery accepted Christ at a very young age and was a member of Bethany Christian Church. He later became a member at Living Way Christian Fellowship when he moved to California.

While in California, he met and married Ivy Michelle and they lived together in Riverside, California for 25 years. There were no children from this union, however Jeffery and Ivy both raised their two great nephews , Devin and Virgil.

Jeffery worked as a Truck driver for Frito lay for over 30 years and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. During that time , he received many awards for his outstanding service . Following the close of Living Way Christian Fellowship , Jeffery later joined Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California.He was a devoted husband, son, uncle and in many ways father figure. He enjoyed spending time with his family , traveling , motorcycle riding, and watching Sports Center. He was crazy for the University of Michigan Wolverines. Jeffery was called to her eternal rest August 10, 2022. He will be missed by all who know him. Jeffery leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife , Ivy ; mother , Paulette ; brother , Mark ; sister ; Casey and niece and nephews, Paige, Devin , and Virgil And a host of beloved relatives and friends .
