Jayne Bailey, age 66, a resident of Grand Bay passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 , at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Jayne was born on December 27, 1958 , in Wabash Indiana, the daughter of Wanda Glass and Harry Wilhelm. Jayne enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kentucky Wildcats. She married Tom Bailey on June 20, 1975. They got to spend 49 glorious years together.

Survivors include:

3 sons: Bradley Bailey, Lucas Bailey,Brett Bailey 

1 daughter: Letha Bailey

1 sister: Ruth Wilhelm  

2 brothers: Bill and James Wilhelm 

Many grandchildren and several great grandchildren 

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tom and Steve Wilhelm. 

Celebration of Life services for Jayne will be as follows.

Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 2 p.m

at Grand Bay Community Church in Grand Bay, Alabama. 

We will have another Celebration of Life for her in Indiana in August for her friends and family up there that would also like to celebrate and remember this beautiful woman. We will let everyone know the details for the Indiana Celebration once they are finalized. 

The family appreciates your patience while we iron out the details and make sure we honor the life of the matriarch of our family.
