Jasmine Denise Thomas was born to Garry and Jacqueline Mitchell on February 5, 1984 in Sacramento, California. She lived in California until the age of 5 and later moved to Chicago, IL with her father Garry Mitchell. She attended Kenwood High School where she excelled in academics as a high honor roll student. Jasmine graduated from high school in 2004 at the top of her class earning a full academic scholarship to Eastern Illinois University. She received her Bachelor degree in Business Administration, and came back to Chicago in 2009. Jasmine later went on to work as an Administrative Assistant at University of Chicago Hospital, often earning high praises for her energetic personality and strong work ethic. Jasmine met the love of her life Dwayne Thomas, in the spring of 2014. Together two children were born, Dwayne (DJ) Thomas Jr., and Nevaeh Denise (Ne-Ne) Thomas. Jasmine was the spark of the family with a smile that could brighten up the room, she loved her family dearly. Jasmine leaves behind her husband Dwayne Thomas Sr., children Dwayne Jr. and Nevaeh Thomas, parents Garry and Jacqueline Mitchell, siblings Garry, Jeremiah, Kelly, and Mya. She also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
