We gather here today to celebrate the life of Jasmine Patterson-Boyd, who was born on March 7, 1957 and passed away on April 1, 2024 in Los Angeles, California, United States. She was the beloved daughter of Danny and Helen Patterson and the loving spouse of Wilbert Boyd, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. She has three brothers Danny, Lindell and Jimmy Boyd.

Jasmine was a devoted mother to her three children Aaron Boyd (spouse Sheila Boyd), Sharon Simmons, and John Boyd. She was also a proud grandmother to three grandchildren.

She attended Lincoln High School and graduated in 1975 before continuing her studies at the University of Southern California, where she earned her degree in 1979. Jasmine dedicated over 40 years of her life to working at FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) before retiring in 2022.

In her free time, Jasmine enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, and fishing. She was also actively involved in the Red Cross organization, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Jasmine's kind and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of love and generosity lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
