Janice K. Micklash, age 70 of Hale, formerly of Kinde, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016. She was born on March 5, 1946 in Hamtramck to Walter and Virginia (Wrubel) Knoblock. Janice was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She enjoyed polka dancing, fishing, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. She especially loved being a grandma. Janice is survived by her husband of 52 years, Andrew Micklash; her children, Linda Thompson of Oklahoma City, Eric (Jewel) Micklash of South Branch, Yvonne (Kenneth) Klebba of Imlay City and Andy Micklash of Roscommon; grandchildren, Justin, Krystal, William, Kristopher, Stoch, Lena, Matthew, Cassondra and Jacek; four great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by parents Walter and Virginia (Wrubel) Knoblock; her sister, Sharon; and her grandson Ken. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hale Chapel of Buresh Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington St., Hale. Janice's funeral mass will be Friday, May 20 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Hale at 10 a.m. with Fr. Joseph Ortega officiating the mass.
