James Denver ShipmanZanesville: James Denver Shipman, 66 of Dresden died at 11:00 PM, Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Residence surrounded by his loving family.He was born on Thursday, September 14, 1950 in Newark, Oh the son of Horace and Imogene Knox Shipman.Jim was a Vietnam Marine Veteran and a retired Truck Driver, owner & operator of CJ Express Trucking. He had little time for hobbies or clubs because his entire life was truck driving & spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Connie of the home; three daughters, Kendra, Jennifer and Mary Ann; and a son, Kevin; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and 8 brothers and sisters. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Bubba and 2 brothers and a sister.A private graveside service will held at a later date at the Utica Southlawn Cemetery, Utica, Ohio.The Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville is in charge of the arrangements.
