It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Davis, who peacefully left this world in the morning ofThursday, February 12, 2026, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was born on May 25, 1998, to his loving parents Thomas W. Davis Sr. and Linda Reeser

James was preceded in death by his father, Thomas W. Davis Sr. and grandmother Karen Nichols.

He is survived by his three brothers, Michael Coates of Frankfort, Kentucky, Jason Coates of Cambellsville Kentucky, Thomas W. Davis of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, and his one sister Ciera Davis of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. His mother Linda Reeser of Radcliff, Kentucky. His five nieces and one nephew, Whitley Davis, Jade Coates, Lylah Davis, Olivia Coates, Adeline Coates, and Sawyer Davis.

James had a passion for fishing and basketball, always finding joy in the outdoors. He was known for his sense of humor and his ability to lighten up any room with his goofiness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Although James did not have any children of his own, he leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will always be remembered by his family and friends.
