James Henry James of Oscoda passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas City, age 54 years. Jim was born on Oct. 6, 1958 in Highland Park to William John and Marjorie Jean (Norris) James. He was a very mechanically inclined man who truly enjoyed working with auto mechanics and restoring vehicles. Jim also found relaxation and pleasure in the outdoors and fishing. He is survived by his loving parents, William and Marjorie James of Oscoda; one brother, Steven (Chris) James of Rockford, Ill.; one sister, Carol Ott (Doug Stephenson) of Oscoda; aunt and uncle, John and Georgina Smith of Troy; five nieces and nephews, Bradley (Melissa) James, Barbara (Jack) Mueller, Zachary (Jessy) Ott, Brian Stephenson and Joey Patterson; numerous great nieces and nephews and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow in Oscoda Pinecrest Cemetery.
