James Ervin "Jim" BorerFREMONT: James Ervin "Jim" Borer, 49, of Fremont passed away at home on December 30, 2016. He was born on September 16, 1967 to Barbara (Werling) and Gerald Borer in Fremont.In 1985, he graduated from SJCC High School. His passion for SJCC Athletics continued long after graduation as a football and wrestling coach for the Crimson Streaks. He worked locally at IAC. Off the sidelines, Jim was laid back and fun loving. He will forever be remembered as a great father, brother, uncle, son, friend and coach.Jim is survived by his daughter Erin Borer of Fremont, OH; father Gerald Borer of Fremont, OH; sisters Cynthia (Pete) Schulden of Plant City, FL; Lori (Donnie) Vallance of Fremont, OH; brother Mike Borer of Fremont, OH; nieces Samantha, Shelby, Stormy Vallance and nephew Steven Schulden. He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara and uncle from whom he was named, James Werling.Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 3-8P.M. at Keller- Koch-Chudzinski Funeral Home 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH with Vigil Services beginning at 7:30P.M.A Mass of Resurrection will begin at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Fremont, OH with Rev. Michael Zacharias officiating. Additional visitation will begin at the church at 9:30 A.M. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
