James Edward Fischvogt Obituary

Apr 23, 1952 - Jul 31, 2017

This obituary is administered by:
FISCHVOGTJames Edward Fischvogt, age 65, died on July, 31, 2017.Jim is survived by his mother Margaret Fischvogt, his wife, Shirley, of 42 years; his 2 girls, Casey Bustle (Robert) and Kim Lauer (Karl) and his two grandchildren, Elaine and Kayton Lauer. Jim was born on April 23, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH, to parents Doyle and Margaret and grew up with two siblings (Carol and Donn). He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1975. Jim was a great family man and a loving father. He gave selflessly to his daughters and granddaughters and loved finally gaining two boys into the family as son-in laws. He enjoyed golfing with friends, cheering on the Buckeyes, Bengals and Reds and visiting Austin, TX for his favorite BBQ. Jim was a generous man and always looked for the opportunity to serve others (usually in the form of cooking delicious food). He is remembered for his deep faith in our loving God and Savior, Jesus Christ. A Celebration of Life Ceremony is being held Saturday August 6th at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church at 3628 Boudinot Ave. All are welcome to attend and celebrate. The family would like to thank all of their friends and family especially the Ridenours for all their love and support. Flowers and donations can be sent to Grace Lutheran Church.
You can to the family or in memory of James Fischvogt.
