Howard Brown, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and retired working man, passed away on August 26, 2024, in Sacramento, California. He was born on March 22, 1941, to Austin and Marvelle Brown.

Howard was known for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and love of good food. He married his soulmate, Zernice Gibson, in 2023 and together they raised five children: Eunique, Eugene, Keilan, Briana, and Derek.

Howard spent 36 years working hard and then happily retired to enjoy his favorite hobby of napping. He was also a master griller and could turn any backyard barbecue into a culinary masterpiece.

Unfortunately, Howard's heart just couldn't keep up with his lively spirit, causing his passing due to heart failure. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him but especially by his loving family.

Rest in peace, Howard. We hope there are plenty of naps and barbecue in heaven for you.
