We mourn the loss of Hertcile Hargress, who passed away on June 18, 2024, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Hertcile was born on April 17, 1938, to Ellis and Betty Lyles in Tuscaloosa.

Hertcile is survived by their partner, Ambrose Hargress, and their three children: Orie Davidson (spouse Bruce Davidson), Otis Hargress, and Leora Smith (spouse William Smith). They also leave behind seven beloved grandchildren.

Hertcile attended Akron High School and graduated in 1957. Throughout their life, Hertcile was known for their kindness, generosity, and love for their family. They will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing them.
