Helena Juanita Snowden, 57, passed on March 17, 2022. She was born to Patrick and Elenore in Belize City, Belize on December 23, 1959.

She shared a union with James Moore for over ten years and they lived together in Chicago, Illinois. Helena raised one child, Andrea’Maria Snowden. She is also survived by one grandchild, Makya Johnson.

Helena worked at Kindercare as a kindergarten teacher and loved each child as if they were her own. Helena was very compassionate about what she called "her children." Kindercare will greatly miss Ms Lena.

To my loving mother,

words cannot even begin to explain what just one week without you have been for our family. You are my best friend and losing the one soul on earth that understood me leaves me broken. You make me our family whole and your space will never fill. But ma like you've always told me, death is never a lost but a gain of an angel. Momma thank you for being our angel.
