Gwenolyn NordstromGwenolyn M. Nordstrom, 95, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls.Gwenolyn Maxine Swenson was born on a homesteaded farm, rural Garretson, on February 18, 1922. She attended country school.She married Andy A. Nordstrom on September 20, 1940 and they lived on the family farm. He passed away in 1964. Gwen moved to Brandon and started employment at JC Penney where she stayed until her retirement. Survivors include two daughters; Diane (Elmer) Miler and Darla Nordstrom; five granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 20 at Split Rock Lutheran Church, rural Brandon with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home, Sioux Falls with the family present from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. www.heritagesfsd.com.
