Gordon D. Jones (76) of Olean, NY passed away earlier this month after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. 

Gordon, also known as “Butch” or “Gordy '' was born to Gordon L. Jones and Ruth Palmquist Stevens, on November 17, 1945. He grew up with Kathy Lodge, his sister and best friend. 

Gordon graduated from Florida State University and was an avid photographer and traveler. 

Gordon held many titles in his life, from artist to entrepreneur, but his favorite role was being a father. Being a dependable father was of utmost importance to Gordon and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to loving his family. Gordon is survived by his son Douglas Z. Jones and his daughter Jennifer J. Wilson. 

Gordon's celebration of life will be during the late afternoon/early evening of June 10th in Jacksonville, FL.
