Gloria M. Smith, 83, passed away on October 23, 2016 at Touro Infirmary hospital. She was born on February 3, 1933 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the wife of Richard H. smith, her surviving husband. They shared 59 years of marriage together. She was the daughter of the late August Francis Delpit and Beulah Pauline Bozonier Delpit. She was the sister of the late Leonard Delpit and August Delpit. She attended corpus Christi School. She worked at Charity Hospital. She was a foster parent and babysitter. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother to all. She is survived by her here children: Deborah Wilkins, Richard A Smith (Shirley), and Cynthia C. Smith. She has seven grandchildren. She leaves behind two brothers: dale Delpit and Gerald Delpit; three sisters: Audrey Wilson, Darnell Sarpy and Angela Delpit. Family and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Service on October 27, 2016 for 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary of the Angel, 3501 N. Miro Street, New Orleans, La 70117.
