"Geri" Ruprecht, 82Waite ParkNov. 16, 1934 - Jan. 13, 2017Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church for Geraldine O. "Geri" Ruprecht, age 82, of Waite Park, who passed away on January 13, 2017 at her home. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Inurnment will be at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 (TODAY), at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the Church. Parish prayers will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.Geri was born on November 16, 1934 in St. Paul to Arthur and Regina (Zinda) Oelrich. She graduated from Sauk Rapids High School in 1952. Gerri was united in marriage to Raymond J. Ruprecht on October 16, 1954, they later divorced. She worked for Northwestern Bell in St. Paul and St. Cloud, and for AT&T in Phoenix, AZ, retiring in July of 1991. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.Geri was a loving mother, grandma and great-grandma. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, playing cards, baking and cooking. She was well known for her love of crocheting and enjoyed donating the many blankets she crocheted to area nursing homes and care facilities.She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Gary) Ayer, Susan (Daniel) Kough of New Mexico, Debra (special friend Greg Johnson) Schmitz; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jeanette Henkemeyer, Barbara (Herman) Schleicher, Dolores Schimke, and Dick (Connie) Oelrich, and many other relatives and friends.She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Ruprecht; grandson, Taylor Ayer; parents; brothers, Marvin and Edward Oelrich, and brothers-in-law, Richard Henkemeyer and Jim Schimke.
