Gerald L HueyZANESVILLE: Gerald L Huey, 76 of Zanesville passed away at 4:50 PM Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Oaks at Northpointe.He was born on Friday, December 08, 1939 in Zanesville, OH the son of Charles W. Huey and Odessa F (Trott) Huey.Gerald was a retired car salesman for White's Chevrolet where he began working in 1971. He was a former member of the Army National Guard. He enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, Karaoke, and car shows. He is survived by: one sister: Reba Sims of Zanesville, his friend Mike ( Barb) Sims of Zanesville, niece and caregiver Tina ( Dan) James of Duncan Falls, many other nieces and nephews, and his family at Highway 40 Karaoke.Gerald was preceded in death by parents, brother: Guy W. Huey, and three sisters: Norma Larrison, Mae Puckett and Marilyn Smith.Friends may call 5:00 - 8:00 pm Friday September 23, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 24, 2016 with Pastor J. Stephen Harrop officiating. Burial will conclude at the Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville, OH with military services.The Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville is in charge of the arrangements.
