REGULSKIGerald John “Jerry” Gerald John “Jerry” Regulski passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the age of 78 in Toledo, Ohio after a brief illness. Jerry was born on December 30, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from Macomber High School in 1955 and served in the United States Army from 1958-1960, billeted at Fort Lewis, near Tacoma, Washington. He returned from the service to Toledo where he married Gloria Jean (Olzak) Regulski, his loving wife of 55 years, on September 30, 1961. Jerry was employed by Ohio Bell Telephone/Ameritech for 37 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA), the Knights of Columbus St. Lawrence Council 4169, and the Ohio Bell Telephone Pioneers. Jerry enjoyed bowling and golf, particularly his “Buckskins” golf league. An avid Cleveland Indians fan, Jerry also enjoyed watching his granddaughters compete in recent years. In addition to his wife, Gloria, Gerald is survived by his son, Gary (Linnea) Regulski; daughter, Gail (Joseph) Simpson; sister, Nancy (Terry) Allen; granddaughters, Alexandra Simpson and Sydney Simpson, and nephew, Robert Allen. Gerald was preceded in death by his father, John C. Regulski; mother, Anna (Skitowski) Regulski; his in-laws, Martha (Wieczorek) Polek and Stanley Olzak, and nephew, Richard Allen. The family will be receiving friends in the Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Rd., Toledo, Ohio on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Prayers will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016 in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo, Ohio.
