Young, Jr. of Naples FL, Ocean City NJ, and Delaware County PA , passed on peacefully in the presence of family on April 3,2017.He was born on June 29,1923 in Philadelphia, PA.Educated as an attorney and an accountant , George graduated from the Wharton School of business and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.George was a talented musician. He played the saxophone and the clarinet in many bands throughout his life. He was a passionate bridge player, golfer, and tennis player as well as an enthusiastic Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies Fan . George treasured the summers in Ocean City NJ. When he retired to Naples FL , his love affair of living near the water continued. George was a happy guy , and enjoyed life to it's fullest. He will be missed.He is survived by his daughters Meredith ( Phil Nero ) of Shorewood, WI ; Melody ( Brian Downs ) of Montville, NJ ; and his son G. Guyer lll of Newtown Sq, PA. Other survivors include his sister MaryAnn DeMoya of Naples FL ,and his nephew David DeMoya ( Marilyn) of Naples FL.A celebration of George's life will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 10am at the Gates Chapel at the Naples United Church of Christ, 5200 Crayton Road.Interment will be private in Pennsylvania at a later date.
