Fredric Lee Jensen Sr.LansingFredric Lee Jensen Sr. July 30, 1935 - May 17, 2017 Fredric L. Jensen, age 81 of Lansing passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home, Laingsburg Chapel with Pastor Rich officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Cemetery in Bath. Family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Fred was born on July 30, 1935 in Lansing, the son or Walt and Edith (Webber) Jensen. He married Barbara (Carpenter) Jensen the love of his life on April 9, 1954 in Lansing. He worked Simon Iron and Steel, Federal Drop Forge and had a resort on Drummond Island. He had a great love for God, hunting,fishing and especially his family. He always had a great story to tell especially telling his bear and deer stories. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara, his children, Rose (Lynn) Vietzke, Robin (Greg) McCrimmon, Fredric Jensen Jr. and Rhonda Koenig, 14 grandchildren ,38 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, brother, David Jensen, sisters, Judy (Tom) Therrian, Susan Strickland and Carolyn Jensen. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew McCrimmon and son-in-law Don Koenig. A special thanks to Compassus, Jen A., Jenette K., Suzy H. and Tom B.
