Franklin Hicks, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born on March 19, 1940, to Milton P Hicks and Mae L Hicks.

Franklin is survived by his four children: Ed P Hicks (spouse Ann Hicks), Val Rummner (spouse KC), Cristine L Drake (spouse Shane), and Cameron J Hicks (spouse Janie). He also leaves behind 10 beloved grandchildren, Mary, Manda, Stace, Naya, Susie, Mikey, Jessie, Danny, Wes, and Cinda.

Franklin worked as a Trucker and retired in 1998. His hobbies included relaxing with his family, fishing, and telling bad jokes that always made everyone chuckle.

Franklin was known for his quick wit and infectious laugh. No family gathering was complete without Franklin’s hilarious stories and antics.

He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Franklin. May your jokes continue to bring laughter wherever you are.
