Esther R. (Sampsel) NeighborsMANSFIELD: Esther R. (Sampsel) Neighbors, 84, of Mansfield, passed away surrounded by her family, on Monday, July 10, 2017.Esther was born on September 22, 1932, in Mansfield, to Clifford W. and Eva (Kaffman) Sampsel. She retired from Hartman Electric. She married Ralph Neighbors on December 24, 1950, and he survives. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time especially with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed flower gardening and garage sales.Along with her husband, Ralph, she is survived by three daughters, JoAnn (Rod) Lucas, Mary (Frank) Dulin, and Janet (William) Hagans, all of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Ricky Miller Jr of Mansfield, Heather (Joe) Reilly of Columbus, Mikayla Leicy of Mansfield, Hilary (Nathan) Hedrick of Columbus, and Amanda R. Neighbors of Mansfield; seven great-grandchildren, Daevon Leicy, Xavier Miller, Malachi Miller, Isaiah Miller, Cassia Miller, Liliana Miller, and Juliana Reilly; special friend, Leah Dulin; and step-grandchildren, Jeremy Lucas, Crystal Trainer, and Carrie Rhoades.Esther was preceded in death by her parents; one son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Patty Neighbors; two sisters, Gertrude Sampsel and Betty Neely; half-sister, Mary Jane Bowers; and half-brother, William "Bud" Sampsel.Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH.
