Ester Mae, was born April 4, 1952 to the late Casey L. and Ella Boddie in Memphis, TN.

Ester was the third child out of right. She professed her life to Christ in her early years at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She later joined World of Life SDA, where she was a faithful member until her illness took over.

Ester met Freddie L Howard back in early 1974, and to this union they raised 3 daughters Karen, Angela and Tiffany.

Ester work on the Naval Base Millington for many years until she became a member of the Jack Pirtle's Chicken family.

Ester leaves to cherish her memories: Freddie Howard of Memphis, TN, her children Karen Hobson(Anthony), Angela Steele, and Tiffany James of Memphis,TN. She has 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren proceeds her in death. Siblings, Eula (Jackie) Whiting of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary (Jody) Boddie of Arlington,TX, Donna (Faye), Wilbert Boddie of Memphis, TN. Willie Mae Carter, Casey L Boddie, Jr. and Logan (Scoope) Boddie proceeds her in death; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
