Ernestine "Ernie" L. BogleHOPEWELL: Ernestine "Ernie" L. Bogle, 96 of Hopewell, died at 7:35 AM Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice.She was born on June 29, 1919 in Sonora, Ohio the daughter of John E. and Luna Allison Derry.Ernestine graduated from New Concord High School in 1937, then graduated from the Cameo Beauty College. After graduation she worked at Gorney's Beauty Shop, the Beauty Nook, and then Mini Care Hair Center for a total of 65 years before retiring. Ernie was a former member of Sonora United Methodist & then later a member of the Gratiot United Methodist Church. She also was a former member of the Brownsville Eastern Star #485. Along with her husband she enjoyed vacationing & traveling. She is survived by her foster son, David F. Lenhart; grandchildren, Mark Lenhart and Cynthia Lenhart; Great granddaughters, Carrie (Jay Campbell) Lenhart and Catie (Joe) Wambaugh; her sisters, Isabel Ross, Rita Blancett and Leta Vance; numerous Nieces & nephews. Ernestine was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband of 50 years & the love of her life, Harry w. Bogle who died in 1994; brothers, Ellis Derry, Wendell Derry, Dwight Derry, and Denzil Derry; sisters, Ruth Lenhart, Geneva Jennings and Pauline Kirk. Friends may call 4 to 6 pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. where funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 with Pastor Doris Flynn officiating.
