Ernest Junior Daniels, 82, of Rochester, passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus.  Ernest was born on Jan. 10, 1934, in Juneau, Alaska. Ernest lived in Alaska until joining the Navy at age 17. Ernest lived the rest of his life in Rochester. Ernest worked as a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed going to the casino, riding his motorcycle and driving in his semi with his wife, Donna. Together they had two sons and six daughters. Ernest was cared for by his children until the end of his wonderful life. Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one daughter, and his brothers and sisters. Ernest is survived by his seven children; 16 grandchildren; and 31.5 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.   There will be a memorial service from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at Rochester Cremation Services. Private family burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
