Eric Maragh late of Charlton Mews, Kingston and National Commercial Bank. Eric, Dad or Grandpa to us was born in Kingston, Jamaica on 15th May 1946 to Louise and James Maragh who both preceded him. Eric was one of ten children and the math brains of the family. He dedicated himself to his work at the National Commercial Bank where he worked for over 40 years but his true love was his children and grandchildren. He leaves behind two children Hanif (Dawn) and Shakira (Chris), five grandchildren - Danielle, Raphael, Isabel, Jordanne and Mikhail, four sisters, three brothers and his former wife Gloria, other relatives and friends. As the eldest son he cared for his siblings and provided support whenever they needed him. He loved sports (especially cricket) where he often times would be watching the matches on tv (muted audio) while listening to the commentary on the radio. He had a good sense of humor and a dry wit. An avid gardener in his later years and our expert fiscal advisor. After his retirement he took on the role of "honorary" UBER driver for the grandchildren taking them to their various activities. On his trips to Canada, he gladly accompanied the grandkids on the various amusement rides when the parents were too afraid. In the end he ascended peacefully and is at rest with our saviour. His legacy lives on in us. Gone but not forgotten. Rest in Peace Dad. Love Always.
