Our beloved Newton Dwyer, born on May 11, 1987, in Kingston, Jamaica, has left us on March 24, 2026. Newton was the son of Noel Dwyer and Michelle Mattis, and a loving father to his two children, Melody and Missy.

Newton was a funny, loving, and charismatic man whose presence could light up any room. He had a gift for making people laugh and bringing joy to those around him. He cherished music, treasured time with his family, and had a special love for good food—earning him the affectionate nickname “Foodie.”

Above all, Newton was a devoted father to his two beloved daughters, Melody and Missy, who were the center of his world. He loved them deeply and took great pride in being their father.

Newton’s passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of his family and friends, but his memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the many lives he touched.

Family gatherings and prayers were held in Teaneck, New Jersey, over the past week in honor of Newton’s life and legacy.

He will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed
