Mrs. Edna Corrine Cummings "Mother Cummings" made her transition after a short, but fruitful life, at the age of 69, Friday, November 30, 2018, under the care of Methodist North Hospital.

Mrs.Edna Corrine Cummings was born to Mrs. Minnie Portis and Adell Brown but raised by Mr. Harus and Minnie Portis on August 27, 1949, in Sandusky, Ohio. She accepted Christ at the early age of 4 years old. Her spiritual journey consisted of her memberships at Elder William Tabernacle, Greater Noel Tabernacle, Church of God in Christ, Pastor Beard Church and The New Cathedral of GHWT. "Mother Cummings" was loved by many and called mother by all.

She married the love of her life, Mr. Sherman Cummings at the age of 29 in Ohio. With that union, they were blessed with Andre', Teaquana, Abdullah and Chakakhan. 11grand children,7 great-grandchildren and counting.A host of loving brothers and sisters in Ohio. Wonderful neighborhood friends and church members who loved and joyfully celebrated her 69 yrs.
