Dwight Lockett Jr was born on November 28, 1979 in Los Angeles, Ca to Dwight Lockett Sr and Pernitta Lockett. 

 He began his education at Grape Street Elementary, Markham Middle School, David Starr Jordan High School.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and play drums for the church of Watts Family of Faith Fellowship Church, which he was also a member.

Dwight, known to his family and neighborhood Friends as D-Dubb, was known to be the life of the party and a generous man. He loved to cook bar b Que for his mom and friends and family. Always joking and love his Lakers. He had a giving heart, a loving spirit, and was a overall supportive person.

Love is far greater than death, Dwight departs only in flesh but lives on in our hearts. He leaves the following loved ones in God’s Care: His loving and devoted parents: Pernitta Lockett and Dwight Lockett Sr. His five sons: Dwight Lockett lll, Dwight Lockett lV, Dmere Lockett, Mari Lockett, Daveon Lockett. Three sisters Trenisha Moody, Kanesha Lockett, Kim Lockett, two brothers Goldie Flenor, Devontae Flenor. 9 nieces and 8 nephews. He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends who love him and will miss him dearly. 

We love him just as much in his absence as we did in Life. So whenever you think of D-Dubb, picture him with that hat to the back and a smile that’s big enough to the light up the sky.
