Donald E. RossSt. ClairDonald E. Ross, age 87, of St. Clair, went peacefully home to the Lord on Tuesday May 23, 2017. He was born on July 5, 1929 in Detroit to the late Jay and Lenora Ross.He faithfully served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Margaret West on February 22, 1950. She preceded him in death on June 29, 2015.He worked as Director of Service at Arnold Lincoln Mercury for many years retiring in 1994. He enjoyed woodworking, especially crafting model freighters for family and friends.He is survived by his son; Don (Michelle) Ross and daughter; Lynda (Jerry) Clardy. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Candyn (Ric) Shebestak, Aaron Ross, Jeremy (Jessica) Ross, and Jared Clardy, his great-grandchildren; Tanner Kinkela, Aura Shebestak, Ross Koerber, Tyler Ross, Alayna Ross, Brody Ross, William Clardy and Sydney Ross. Also surviving are his brother; Jay (Sandy) Ross and sister; Beverly McGlone.He is preceded in death by brothers; Jack Ross and Jim Ross and sister; MaryAnn Eberle.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10 at L.C.Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair.
