Mr. Simpson “Peanut” was born on February 12 ,1977 in Sheffield, Alabama to Ann Salfold and Henry Simpson, Sr. He departed this life on April 20th, 2022, at his residence in Leighton, Alabama.

He attended Colbert County High School. On May 5th of 2002, he married the love of his life, Lashannon Sherail Simpson. To this union they had one loving daughter , Taylor Simpson. Dimitruis was a family loving man and was loved by everyone. He never met a stranger and could make anything happen (you had to know him in order to know what that means). “I’m Gone Make It Happen”, in Dimitrius voice. His hobbies were washing cars, cutting hair, riding his lawn mower, playing with his beloved grandson and last but not least, grilling every Sunday for family.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His wife, Lashannon Simpson of Leighton, AL; One daughter Taylor Simpson of Florence, AL One step daughter Accacia Smith of Florence , AL; his Mother, Ann Salfold of Tuscumbia , AL his Father, Henry Simpson, Sr. of Tuscumbia, AL; his Mother-In-Law, Mary Simpson of Leighton, AL; One Sister, Kiara Simpson of Muscle Shoals, AL. One Loving Grandson, Kayden Roach of Florence, AL. and a host of special Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and very special and devoted friends.
